OPI’s New Olympic Ads

The nail polish brand will debut a new ad capaign in December.

OPI is launching a new ad for its GelColor polish collection, with an “endurance” theme. The brand is linking the long-lasting benefits of its nail polish to the endurance of American Olympic athletes – Gabrielle Douglas, Misty May-Treanor, Danica Patrick, and Serena Williams.

“The strength shown by these world-class athletes is emblematic of OPI’s GelColor and prompted our newest message—’Color Endures at the Speed of Life,'” said Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, vice president and artistic director, OPI. According to Fischmann, the OPI GelColor line is trending toward $100 million in distributor sales.

The new GelColor ad campaign will appear in December, in Bon Appetit, Essence, Health, Lucky, Real Simple, and O Magazine.
